weight lifting.not just for men.
Although weight lifting has become more and more popular through out the years, many women still believe that it will make them big and bulky and manly...boy they are wrong. Muscle training has sooo many positive benefits its crazy! It may have started out as a man's sport back in Arnold's days, but times have changed. When done correctly, its benefits include:
~helps lower inflammation in your body by lowering CRP (C reactive protein)
~help you burn more calories, the more muscle your body has, the more calories it burns.
~reduces your chances of developing osteoporosis
~muscle burns fat
~helps reduce chances of disease
If you have not implemented weight training in your exercise regime, its never too late to start. Go slow and start light, hire a trainer or work out with an experienced person who knows the correct form and posture to avoid injuries!
Women, you don't have to be afraid of a little muscle it does a body good and you look great too:)
